Chuck Pettyjohn is a well-recognized name among tenors in Southern Gospel music. He has been a crowd favorite, both as a solo artist and while singing with some of the most prominent quartets in the industry.His career in Southern Gospel music began in 1984 with regional charting group, The Joy Masters from Canton, Georgia and continued with The Melodyaires from Traveler’s Rest, South Carolina and Pure Harmony from Winder, Georgia, both Singing News charting groups. More recently, Chuck is recognized for his time with both the Old Paths and the Kingsmen Quartet.Pettyjohn’s smooth tenor voice soars effortlessly as he sings those polished high notes, demonstrating his years of experience, but more importantly, his heart for worship.
