"Raised in church with a love for gospel music, you have a dream to someday be in a Southern Gospel group, playing and writing music as a full time profession. So your parents buy you a piano, you take a few lessons, perform with a member of one of your favorite groups at your home church, play at a concert in Tennessee for an audition, then head to Canada for a "trial run", for 2 weeks, when you're only 16. Almost two years later, the trial run continues. You're still riding the bus and performing with one of America's favorite gospel groups, "the Hoppers." It wasn't quite that simple or easy for Arab's Trevor Conkle, but the story nonetheless is a young man living his dream, learning the ropes of the 'old gospel two lane', and understanding more day by day it was just all in God's plan."
And without further ado, here is the interview!
