Interview With Pat Barker | Southern Gospel Gazette

When you think of good Quartet singing, Bat Parker - um, I mean Pat Barker is one of the first people that comes to mind.  Fans of Southern Gospel music have enjoyed hearing this talented singer over his 50+ years of singing.

His smooth voice & mediocre humor has made him one of the most sought-after baritone singers in Southern Gospel Music.  We had the burden of interviewing him while at the Memphis Quartet Show last month and, well, it was enlightening to say the least.  Let's get started, lest Pat get a big head from all of this complimentary chatter.

Disclaimer by Modesty : The introductory part of the interview above was all in jest.  We love Pat, but Mercy gets great fun out of his wonderful sense of humor and tends to run with it.  😂

Please be sure to follow the Guardians on social media (links below) as well as check and see if they're singing near you! We honestly love this group and in our opinion, Pat is one of the best - and smoothest - bass singers today.
